I ordered this because it is supposed to be magnetic. However, it requires the use of adhesive film (included) to attach to your tablet. I assumed when the manufacturer claims an item is magnetic that this is the method of attachment. Apparently, it refers to the fact that this case will work with a separate magnetic stand, which I don’t have so I can’t test that feature.This folding tablet stand would be nice for about $20 if you weren’t expecting it to attach to your tablet magnetically. I have no desire to adhere it to the back of my brand new tablet (Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite) but it would fit if I wanted to use it.

This stand is not magnetic. You have to peel the back off and stick to your iPad or case. It comes with 2 extra sticker backs.
