Sturdy, Premium, and Larger Than Expected
I ordered the Nillkin Magnetic iPad Stand mainly for my desk setup, and it’s a very solid, well-built piece of hardware. The aluminum alloy construction feels premium, and the magnets hold both my iPad and iPhone securely. The 360° rotating base makes it easy to adjust angles for work or watching videos, and the built-in MagSafe charger is a nice convenience for keeping my iPhone topped up. great build quality, with some caveats…
1st, I’d like to say that the build quality is great! Looks really nice and the magsafe holds my phone really well. I like that you can adjust this stand and they include magsafe rings for more compatibility. The price is shocking to be honest. I feel like you can get something with a smaller footprint that can charge your phone, watch and Airpods for a literal fraction of the price. The thing i dislike the most, is the giant base. I wanted to use this on my desk but its very bulky. all in all, I think its a nice stand/charger for the right person, but not for me.

Nice iPad/tablet/phone stand for desk, but it would be better to have the charging port on the base
This is a nice iPad/tablet/phone stand for use on a desk, table, etc. In addition to the stand itself, the package includes a magnetic ring that can be attached to the iPad/tablet, a USB-C charging cable and instructions.The stand is attractively designed and made primarily of aluminium, which looks and feels like good quality. The magnet that holds the device in place is strong, so there’s little risk of it falling off. The stand provides 10 W of power, which is sufficient for moderate charging speeds for most devices. The attached device can be rotated, and the base is fairly heavy, with rubberised feet, so rotation works smoothly, without moving the stand etc. It’s a convenient way to use an iPad or similar device.The only negative about this stand is that the charging port for the USB-C power cable is on the upper part of the stand. That design choice may have been made to simplify rotation, but it leaves a cable sticking out of the back of the device, which doesn’t look as nice as having a cable connected to the base would.Overall, this is a nice iPad/tablet/phone stand, and I can recommend it.

High Quality, Works Well
Nice quality and works well. Unfortunately, it’s a little difficult to use with a keyboard case, so I would not recommend if you use one of those. Otherwise, great!

Good solidly built charging base
What you get: the stand, a USB A-to-C cable, a mounting ring, two plastic adhesive rings and comprehensive instructions. Also a hex key for adjustments in case the tension is not how you want.This is a hefty item. It’s colored to match your Apple devices.I tried it with two devices – an older iPad and a Samsung S24 Ultra.Mounting the iPad was easy enough and the instructions were clear. Since iPads don’t have wireless charging, you have to run the cable to the port on the tablet; running it through the stand’s cable management hole makes this a little tidier.When mounting and charging a phone, it’s advisable to pop out the center section (pushing it alternates between in and out). My S24Ultra with magsafe case was able to charge just fine. I like that I can pop my phone on here and use it for video calls and adjust the angle really easily.

Very high quality stand with 20W magsafe charging for phones
This is a heavy stand that is very well made, has a super smooth base (nice soft click sound as it rotates) and powerful magnets. The pop in/out center section charges an iphone or other magsafe compatible device but only at a max of 20W it appears. It would have been good to have it go full speed at 30W especially as the stand is metal and could handle the heat dissipation. with the center section popped in, the included magnetic ring can be attached to any tablet using the transparent film protector and metal ring. The stand will then support the tablet in any orientation and can be angles up or down as desired. The stiffness of the hinge can also be adjusted as needed by removing a rubber bung as the hinge and using the included hex key (Allen key) to tighten or loosen the tension. I really like the versatility as while i only use the iphone aspect to charge and hold my phone, my partner uses the stand for the ipad primarily.

So, initially this thing confused me. I did not realize that the middle “Charging” portion is like a button that pushes in, and locks into place. The design for this thing would be useless if it didn’t do that. Thus the confusion. This is a very nice tablet holder. The base is heavy enough it likely won’t move super easy, and the well tooled aluminum housing makes it look sleek and expensive making it a nice addition to your other Mac devices. I don’t have any of those, but my android tablet looks good on it too. Wireless charging built into it and the easily rotating base just add icing on the top of this thing. Comes with a charging cable, and a stick-able disk to turn any tablet into something compatible with this that will hold strong. Kind of like a giant MagSafe circle. Personally I think $99.99 is a little over priced despite how nice it is, but I’m honestly not sure what something like this usually goes for, so maybe it is under-priced and you should ignore me.
