Premium quality and aesthetics
The look and feel of the stand is identical to that of Apple iMacs and the Apple Studio Display, looks very stylish and premium. The iPad snaps to the stand with a good amount of grip. It’s sturdy whilst still being able to remove the iPad one-handed if you tilt it off at the right angle. The iPad rotates on the stand without too much force but doesn’t feel loose in any way. The stand can tilt making it versatile for different uses, but the height is not adjustable, which I already knew and it did not present any issues (I would rather have a single sturdy piece than one that’s multiple parts). Size is just right. Price is on the higher end but seems appropriate for the material and finish quality.

Great purchase! Looks really cool and holds my portable monitor well! Bought a couple products from Elago and haven’t been disappointed yet! Glad they have separate magnet adhesives available to purchase also.

Aesthetics Form and Function
Let me start with the positives, the simplicity of this magnet stand is a great design. Having color options is a plus. The included magnet is very strong, well done. The stands articulation is very smooth. It is a little trivial removing your iPad from the stand without the stand coming with it. Show the quality of the magnets used which I applied to my iPad clear cover after cleaning the surface with alcohol to make for an oil free surface to give the adhesive the best opportunity to work. I’m very pleased over all with my purchase.And now the negatives, the item was shipped in its original box only, arrived a bit crushed. There needs to be a standard for items at curtain price points. Thankfully the stand was not damaged from shipping. Reading the description the company emphases quality of its product and manufacturing. My stand arrived with a few flaws in its finish, it had several minor dents that you could feel running your hand over the edges, I almost returned it based on these findings but decided to live with these imperfections after weighing my immediate needs, the time to drop off and wait for the refund to try and buy the same item later and hope it arrives in a perfect state. This is the only reason I stand wasn’t given all 5 stars. It’s a sold piece, could be more stable with a heavier base and the angles nailed it.

usability is worse than competitor products( less adjustable, ipad easily detaches (weak hold), requires elago case or ring for attachment, despite the ipad already containing a copious amount of magnets )BUT LOOK AT THAT BASE–machining art, done in the same design language as apple’s display productseasily the most beautiful ipad stand however, though you will trade some ease-of-use for the privilege

Looks great and works amazingly well
This stand is great. It holds my iPad Pro in place with no worries that it will let go. It tilts to adjust it to the angle you want. It is well made and very solid. I highly recommend it.

Looks and feels great, but dependence on one single ring is a little precarious
I love the stand itself its solid and looks like it has 5-star fit and finish.Here is the drawback:I don’t mind the magnetic ring to be attached to my device, since it’s removable if ever needed, but not having a source to obtain new rings, or having more rings bundled in the box is not good. It means if I ever need to change my device, I have a $110 paperweight of a stand for lack of a ring, as the rings are not re-usable or even available for purchase anywhere (not even from elgato)Update 11.2023: Now that they sell the magnetic rings separately my main concern has been addressed it’s a 5 star stand

The stand is very nice. but for the price, it should more adjustability and the fact that you have to buy their case so your iPad works with it can be inconvenient.

El Iman pega más que chancla de madre. Ya enserio, el stand es precioso y te sirve para la funda que lo acompaña de la misma marca. Se puede girar como muestran las imágenes para situar el iPad tanto en vertical como en horizontal

J’ai profité de la promo de Prime pour l’acheter car il est trop cher en temps normal, je l’ai pris dans la couleur la moins chère, couleur argent même si j’avoue que j’aurais préféré la couleur rose mais malheureusement trop chère. Le support est très design, il est livré avec un aimant qu’on peut coller sur l’arrière de la coque de l’iPad, et ça tient parfaitement bien. Ça ne bouge pas, même quand j’essaye de le bouger un peu, ça semble solide, l’ensemble est robuste et de qualité. Sans l’aimant fourni en revanche, les aimants de base ne sont pas conçus pour que ça tienne bien, à moins d’acheter la coque de la même marque. Je comprends que beaucoup de gens se méfient d’une petite surface et préfèrent les supports avec une surface large mais a contrario, j’ai noté sur mon ancien iPad mini par exemple avec un support magnétique et une grande surface, qu’il était impossible de mettre l’iPad avec une coque, au final je préfère mettre un aimant derrière une coque pour l’utiliser avec ce support que le mettre sans protection arrière sur une plus grande surface.Je recommande ce produit, mais avec une promo car il reste très cher.

L’articolo è fatto veramente bene in termini di design, materiali e ergonomicità.Per quello che è il costo, includerei la custodia (che va comprata a parte), anche perchè perso che nessuno incollerebbe dietro all’iPad l’anello magnetico che viene dato nella confezione.
