No App Needed, Seemless Tracking
This comes with everything you need to get started recording precious moments or vlogs. There is no app to download or install, just use your regular phone camara. It comes with a tripod with face tracking technology, 2 selfie lights, and 2 lavalier mics. The Tripodhas an all plastic body the build quality is decent and lightweight. In the center on the bottom there is a silver metal stake that can be attached and into the ground for more stability. When extended to the max height it gets more wobbly, but doesn’t interfere with the performance of the built-in tracker. It can be adjusted to different heights and even used as a selfie stick. In the instructions you can remove the remote that is above the tracking lense but I have been unsuccessful with removing it. But that’s not really a deal breaker for me.The Phone Holdercan hold phones with cases with no issue as long as you don’t have a pop socket attached. It can handle phones as big as the iPhone 17 Pro Max.The Face Trackeris rechargeable via usb-c and does a really good job keeping up with the subjects face and movements. The tracking works really well. If you put your palm facing the lense like a high five you can pause the tracking and give an ok sign to continue tracking. The Miccomes with 2 lavalier mics that you can clip to your shirt. It comes with a dongle that connects to usb-c or iPhone and pairs to both mics. It comes with 2 foams and 2 dead cats. The dead cats reduces if not eliminate wind noise. The sound quality from the mics are really good. If you start to hear a buzzing or humming sound most likely the Mic needs to be charged. The Selfie Lightscomes in a set of 2 and attaches to the phone holder of the tripod. If you press the power button you can change the lights from cool white, amber, warm white. When long pressing you can change the brightness levels. The can get very bright or dim.Overall, very good value for all that is included and for good quality products.

Great All-in-One Vlogging Kit — Just Wish the Tripod Was Taller
This vlogging kit has everything you need to get started in one package, which I really appreciate. The tripod holds my phone securely without tilting, even though it’s light weight the setup has been stable and well balanced for my needs. The auto face tracking works very well and is responsive when moving, which is great for recording videos hands-free. The wireless microphone is surprisingly good and clear, especially for a starter kit. I also like using the tripod for video calls, not just vlogging, which makes it very versatile. My only downside is that I wish the tripod were taller, as that would make it even more flexible for different filming angles. Other than that, this is a solid kit that’s convenient, functional, and great for beginners or casual creators.

Cool Set! May Not Fit All Phone Cases
I’m not (yet) a “vlogger” but have been considering making some instructional videos related to my hobbies, so I ordered this kit. Though I have only done some initial testing, so far I have been very impressed with all the gear. The kit comes with the tripod/gimbal which also houses a small remote control, two small ring lights, two lavalier microphones and a receiver for them, and four USB-to-USB C cords for charging. There are five total items which need charging, but chances are you probably already have an additional cord should you need to charge all five simultaneously.Instruction pamphlets are included for the gimbal setup and the microphone system; instructions for the lights are on the boxes in which they’re shipped. The print is small for an old person like me but the instructions are fairly straightforward. I was able to get up and running with minimal confusion (see below). The gimbal includes a spring-loaded mount for cell phones as well as a bolt-type mount for action cameras. The “ground spike” is for staking the stand into the ground in sand or soft soil, and it is housed inside the base of the stand when not needed. Note that the advertised weight limit for attaching devices to the stand is 500 grams (approximately 1.1 pounds); I think this may include the ring lights as well, so you may want to check your equipment’s combined weight (e.g., if you’re using a phone as well as another ring light) before use.The microphones come with noise-reducing covers pre-installed (the “fluffy” kind) and have additional foam windscreens in a handy pouch. The microphones pair with a receiver which you plug into your phone (it has both a USB-C and an Apple Lightning connector); there is no need to pair the microphones with your phone separately but the receiver does need to be plugged into your phone. This is where my “may not fit all phones” comment in my title comes into play. My phone’s cover (Galaxy S25 Ultra) was too thick for the USB-C connection on the microphone receive so I had to remove it for my video demonstration. I’m not comfortable handling my phone too much without the case, so I may have to either find an alternative case or trim back the case frame around the USB-C port. Each of the included microphones can be used in either a noise reduction mode or a normal mode, selectable by pressing the power button. The ring lights are switchable between three modes—cold (bluish), warm (yellowish), and natural (which I think is just both types of LED turned on simultaneously)—by pressing the power button to cycle through them. You can also adjust the intensity of the lights by holding down the power button. The instructions for the lights are only on their boxes, so you may wish to save the back panel of at least one of the boxes before recycling (i.e., don’t make the same mistake I did)!In my video, I demonstrate the motion-tracking of the gimbal with the stand extended to its maximum height, and show one ring light in the “cold” setting and one in the “warm” setting. I mention the stand shaking a bit each time the gimbal stops, but it is not very noticeable in the video. The included remote control did not work because I did not pair it with my phone via BlueTooth (D’OH!).A combination of reading the instructions and playing around with the components proved sufficient to operate everything. I’m very excited to make some actual videos with this kit; it looks like it will be a lot of fun.

As an avid social media follower, I am always in awe of how some content creators look and sound so good in their videos. We’ve all seen the difference between an amateur and a pro, and while I don’t post videos regularly, I definitely belong in the amateur category. But with this kit, I now have everything I need to look and sound like I might know what I’m doing.I shot a sample video with just my phone, then redid a similar video using the items included in this kit. The difference was night and day!I sounded clear and crisp and looked amazing thanks to the tripod and ring lights.I have a feeling I’ll be posting more often now that I have suitable equipment to do so!

I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing their 2024 model. This is a step up in every way possible. With a slightly steadier tripod that extends much higher. Offering a more robust motor allowing for slightly heavier phones+case. The lights are slightly brighter and it comes with 2 wireless clip on microphones. With it’s tracking capabilities this can replace a cameraman in a pinch. Allowing you to get much more dynamic videos, when running solo. The build: 4.2This unit is build with mid grade plastics. This is the norm these days it seams, especially in the low to mid tier. Sadly the tripod isn’t the most steady on the market. Fully extended it wobbles and isn’t that safe to use. Yet if you use it half way it balances much better. I would recommend adding some weight to the bottom legs. For added stability especially if you plan on using this outdoors. The camera is set on the front of the unit and can be adjusted, with a tilt function. You can charge the unit via USB-C connection. The phone holder also suffers from the low to mid level issue. It kind of feels fragile and a bit on the cheeper side. With that being said, it still performs it’s job smoothly. With a solid grip, even with my large phone case. The two lights hook up via slots on each side of the phone holder. A much better system then their older model. That took much more time to set up correctly. The two ring light are also made of plastics with a one button operation. The led: 3.7Ok so when looking at these as a whole package deal, it’s pretty awesome. Yet if we factor in things such as brightness and colour rendering index. This is where things fall apart compared to other models. The lights do their job and do offer 3 colour temperatures to suit a variety of shooting conditions. Yet their poor brightness levels offer little in the way of fill or key light capabilities, in many scenarios. Also the CRI level isn’t very good averaging a mediocre 75%. This means unnatural looking skin tones and strange colour casting. Lets not forget I’m comparing these to lights that cost much more then this whole package deal. For most people this will do just fine. The microphones: 4They work great and offer good clarity for their price. Voices are clear and have decent dynamics. You can always fix issues with a compressor in post. The mic does have a tendency to distort if clipped to close to you’re subjects mouth. So try and avoid doing so if possible. Aim it slightly upwards, if clipped onto the neck portion of their shirt. One great aspect, is the inclusion of two types of mic muffles. One is designed for wind reduction ( the furry one ) the other for plosive reduction. They both work remarkably well and offer much better sound clarity. The unit comes with two dongles. One is for iPhones older models and the other has a more modern USB-C insert. Perfectly suited for most phones on the market today. Just pair the mic with you’re phone via bluetooth and you’re good to go.tracking: 4The tracking is pretty good overall. Again lets temper our expectations here. The price you pay for such technology will determine it’s overall grade. This is a solid B- for what you’ve shelled out. I’ve tested it under different lighting scenarios and it works very well. It keeps you in the middle of the frame most of the time. It’s not the fastest tracker out there. Yet it is surprisingly nimble. Slow to mid strides are followed with ease. It can also do full 360 rotation. Perfect for showcasing an environment or adding dynamism to a shot.Setup: 5Very easy setup and the unit can be deployed very quickly. Under 4 minutes and you can have it up and running. ThisFinal thoughts: 4 out of 5With it’s great upgrades compared to it’s 2024 model. This is a fantastic all in one solution for solo video creators who need more dynamic shoots. With it’s simple operation easy and quick setup. Not to mention it’s very compact form factor. This might be the little electric tripod that suits most of you’re needs. Just keep in mind it’s not the most stable on the market if fully deployed to it’s maximum hight. So adding some sand bags or weight to the legs ( feet) is a must.
