No white cast and works great
This is THE best mineral face sunblock I’ve ever used. I don’t know how they did it, but it leaves absolutely no white cast, just a little bit of shine that’s barely noticeable. It does not have added fragrance so it smells like a mild sunblock smell, very inoffensive. I stay away from the chemical sunscreens so I hope they keep making this one forever – it does not feel heavy or like you have something caked onto your face.

Best Facial Sunscreen Ever
I’ve probably tried 20 different brands of facial sunscreen over the past ten years – no kidding. None have ever been truly great, until this one. While it is a totally mineral sunscreen, it seems to have the best attributes of both mineral and chemical sunscreens. It wears more like a chemical sunscreen in that it lacks the thick white cast I usually associate with mineral screens. On the other hand, it is gentler than any chemical screen I’ve tried. This is seriously great stuff. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Chemical free and what I love about this is how it goes on top of make-up really well and looks really smooth. EVERYONE has commented on how good my skin looks. It works against the sun but it’s also really sensitive and doesn’t leave you with break-outs at all. Love it.

pleasantly surprised
i was pleasantly surprised by this sunscreen. i am INCREDIBLY fair so anything with a tint makes me look orange and anything with a white cast makes me look blue. to be my daily spf, it needs to be truly clear. this dune mineral melt went on clear and dried down to a nice makeup base, though i only put on eyebrows & blush. its in my daily rotation.

NOT hydrating – this is PAINFULLY matte!
This might be one of the worst mineral sunscreens that I have ever used. I have acne-prone, dry/combo skin with minor rosacea and a minimal skincare routine. I hoped that this would be a good final step after using my favorite daytime moisturizer.My initial response upon squeezing it out of the adorable packaging is that this is a gel which is very unique for a mineral sunscreen formula. I applied a small amount to my face and it absorbed pretty much immediately – I assumed it was all good so I squeezed out my usual amount (2 finger lengths for face) and applied it in 2 rounds (one finger length per application round). I noticed that it became harder to apply and rub into the skin – and left a moderate to full whitecast to my skin. I kept rubbing the sunscreen and noticed it was pilling off around my eyebrows, temples, and mouth. The whitecast did eventually calm down, but it still left a slight whitecast to my fair to very fair skin. I looked slightly ghostly. I have noticed that each time that I have tried to wear this that my skin feels like ALL of the moisture has been sucked out. It does not leave me shiny, it leaves me VERY matte to the point where it is almost painful.This sunscreen could have been perfect, but the sunscreen pilling off of my face during application, and the fact that this is UNBELIEVABLY drying/mattifying on my skin is a huge no. I cannot recommend this, and I would run the other way. It also pills off of my face if I touch/rub my face at all throughout the day – it is ridiculous and unacceptable. I am so disappointed in this sunscreen – the brand’s claims and description of this sunscreen is incorrect. This is not hydrating at all. I will stick with my Colorescience No-Show Mineral Sunscreen SPF50 which is actually the best mineral sunscreen that I have used to date.

Best mineral sunscreen ever and I have tried all on Amazon. Only Aussie brands and Japanese brands have no white cast .. this one is the best. I am never switching to any other brand.

Great for Rosacea
Was looking for a gentle sunscreen to apply to facial skin with rosacea. Other sunscreens always irritate my skin, causing it to turn red. This product is very gentle and does not irritate my rosacea at all! I’ve used it multiple times a day for several days in a row with no noticeable irritation. Also does not leave a white film or oily residue which is a huge plus. Very recommended for those with sensitive skin!
