This throw is so warm and beautiful to display on the back of a couch or chair. It is medium weight and very soft making it comfortable to cover up with. It’s warm without making you sweat when you’re on the couch watching a movie. The size is big enough to cover a grown man head to chest and it holds up well in the wash and has proven to withstand some rough use from my young kids. Beautiful blanket that would make a great gift. It makes a cozy display in a living room or on the end of the bed too and has a lovely design. Great blanket not itchy or pilly either.

When I first saw the ad for the 50″ x 70″ Camel and Creamy White Preston Lane Highrise Throw Blanket, I instantly knew I wanted it. Made in Portugal, it features a 60% cotton and 40% acrylic blend. Fuzzy soft, cozy, and warm, I can use this 50″ x 70″ Fluffy Throw for Couch, Bed, or Living Room, or stash it in my 1933 Ford Cabriolet for use in the Rumble seat.The care instruction label is very faded, and I needed a magnifying glass to read it. The label recommends washing on a Gentle Cycle in cold water and tumble drying on a low setting.I used a brand of laundry detergent that I typically use when washing my sweaters and other delicate items.I tossed one of those color-catching sheets into the wash, and it absorbed a considerable amount of dye. The blanket did have some loose fibers, as evidenced by the significant amount of lint in the lint catcher.I can see the attention given to the throw as the circumference is first machine finished and then has the machine Blanket stitch, which makes this blanket so attractive.
