The sunscreen spreads evenly and absorbs with minimal white cast for a mineral formula. Skin feels hydrated rather than greasy after application. Reapplication is straightforward, though it takes some rubbing to fully blend. This is suitable for daily outdoor use rather than heavy water sports.

The price per item if you buy the three pack is about on par with drugstore pricing, and I think it smells good and goes on about average for a mineral sunscreen. Not super seamless at first, but not overly smeary or anything either. I love the packaging and think it’s really chic.

Lightweight, absorbs well, smells amazing
These smell amazing! No white cast, no sticky residue. I typically hate wearing sunscreen even though I know I need to. It’s usually so heavy feeling to me but this isn’t! I grew up near the ocean in the 80’s when we used baby oil and tanning products daily and really need to do a better job of taking care of my skin now in my 50’s. This lightweight formula absorbs well, like a regular daily lotion. Great deal for three tubes and such a high quality lotion. I live on a small farm so I spend a lot of time outside and we love to travel with Hawaii being our favorite repeat destination. These are a great size for traveling and will be the only sunscreen I use from here on out. My husband is bald and uses sunscreen on his head every day, he’s fine with whatever but I just suffer with long sleeves and large hats. Not anymore!

Mineral body sunscreen for light skin
Decent sunscreen. Not great for those with extra melanin though. It says it blends with all skin tones but it doesn’t. I used it on my arms and that grayish ashy look was present. It smells great and doesn’t have that chemical smell. It rubs in pretty quickly. It just doesn’t rub in seamlessly. It won’t kill me to use it but it won’t be the first sunscreen I reach for.

This review is for Poolbar SPF 30 Hydrating Mineral Body Sunscreen, pack of 3.The active ingredient in this sunscreen is zinc oxide. When I think of zinc sunscreen, I think of white streaks. However this formula isn’t pure white, so it blends in much better than your typical white zinc sunscreen, as long as you rub it in well. I like using SPF 30 for days when I have more limited sun exposure – running errands, etc. My favorite part, however, is the sweet, tropical, gourmand scent. It makes applying sunscreen a treat!Each bottle arrived with safety seal intact. Expiration date is approximately 14 months after order date.At under $40 for a pack of 3, this is a decent value for a quality sunscreen if you use sunscreen often.

Nice PoolBar Sunscreen SPF 30, works well on my face
PoolBar 3 pack sunscreen SPF 30-These 3 PoolBar sunscreen smells awesome, coconut and vanilla. I skin tested this on my arm before using on my face. At first it left a white case, but rubbing it in more, it became clear, dries semi-shiny/glossy. I did my face makeup as usual and the sunscreen did not irritate my skin or cause any breakouts, which I usually often do, YMMV, (Your experience may vary from mine). I have combo oily sensitive skin and breakouts around my chin and nose.I am outside often from 1 to 4 hours a day. The sunscreen stays on and I feel that the sunscreen works well under my makeup. I didn’t reapply after a few hours, and feel that I should, if I spent more time outside. My makeup did melt a little bit, even with primer and setting spray, and I blotted to help keep everything in check. So far so good for face and body.

I really love this sunscreen. The coconut, vanilla scent is perfect and masks the sunscreen smell one often gets from most sunscreen. 30 spf is enough to protect us from sunburn, but still allows a slow tan when worn throughout several day at the beach. And it is water resistent up to 80 minutes allowing you to be in a pool or the beach surf and still be protected. The other thing about PoolBar’s sunscreen cream is it comes in a tall, thin container making it easy to store in a pool tote bag, purse, or even in the glove compartment of my car. I don’t care for sunscreen sprays as you end up breathing in the mist–and that can’t be good! With this lotion, it goes on nice and easy–where you want it, and stays out of my lungs! My husband is bald and this sunscreen lotion, not only protects his head from burning, but it moisturizes the skin on his head too, which he loves. I’ve been looking for a mosturizing sunscreen such as this and will definately purchase it again.
