I am so glad I finally tried these because look at this photo of my hair!!!! I’m using these to extend a blowout. I blew out my hair earlier that morning and I set it with a light hold hairspray. I then used these that same night and I completely brushed out my hair into three sections and I had these arranged from top to bottom like a mohawk. It is a learning curve using these if you’re like me and you have layers because it’s hard to get your ends to roll and stay but once you do it, it’s secure in place! It took me a few tries for each one, but I think the more I use this the easier it will be. If you roll them like a mohawk like I did then it’s very easy to sleep on if you are a side sleeper. I secure these using a satin bonnet at night to sleep in which I think is another key!!! I let them out in the morning and set with light hold hair spray! Magic!

Decent heatless curler, would prefer something more grippy
This heatless curler is easy to use and is effective. Instructions say to roll the hair towards the face. I find that I get better curls and curlier curls when I roll away from the face. YMMV.The velvet grips hair but not as well as I’d like. I’d prefer another material or design that grips the hair better. But, to be fair, my hair is pretty slippery and has lots of layers, so this is not the fault of the product.

They Work but Not for Long
I bought these October 1, 2024 so have some thoughts after using them for an entire year.Initially these curlers worked great! I have super thick hair and these gave me that Sabrina Carpenter blowout on a daily basis no matter the length of my hair. I got so many compliments at work and didn’t find them hard to use once getting the hang of things. The curl definitely holds more the dirtier your hair is, but using them with 10-20% damp hair on the first night seemed to do the trick. They are not very comfortable to sleep in, at least in the way that I used them (1 on my bangs, 2 for the rest of my hair). I sleep on my back and these were not comfortable when pressing into my head, but if you are a side sleeper it might not bother you. I did learn pretty quickly that if the hair was pulling at ALL to just redo the curls, because it will bother you all night. Overall, I could get over all of that for my results since this was the best luck I’d had with heatless curlers so far.However…About 3 months in, one of them started to flatten in the middle, and soon enough they had all detached from the fabric/hook. A year later I cannot use them because slowly but surely, they’ve all become flattened foam rods inside of a fabric pouch. Really disappointed by this and wish I had just bought the expensive Eternal Muse ones since I’m going to have to replace these anyway. I would not recommend spending your money on these if you are planning to use them regularly and want them to last, because eventually they will flatten, detach, and become wasted space in your bathroom drawer.

Bouncy Curls for Shoulder Length Hair
I have shorter hair (slightly past shoulder length) and these worked perfectly! They’re about an inch and a half in diameter, which is good for bouncy curls. I only use two, one on the top of my head and one in the back. First, I use a mousse and then sleep in the rollers overnight. They leave my hair sleek and bouncy without falling out in the middle of the night. Highly recommend for a low-maintenance look.

Beautiful no heat curls!
These heatless curling rods are such a game changer! They’re comfortable to wear, easy to use, and give me soft curls without any damage from heat. I like that the material is gentle on my hair and doesn’t pull or tangle. It takes a little practice to get the technique right, but once you do, the results are beautiful and long-lasting. A great option for healthier styling!

The product took over a fortnight to arrive and the box was slightly crushed but it was definitely worth the wait. After blow drying my hair on a hair wash day I put two rods in before I go to sleep. At first they were difficult to sleep in and slightly uncomfortable but I’m getting used to it now. They are so worth it!!! My hair looks better than any salon blowout I’ve ever had. I’ve got the most compliments on my hair I ever have in my life. The only time I’ve been using heat is when I blowout my hair but otherwise the bounce and blowout lasts four to five days before I wash my hair again. I can already see the healthiness of my hair from using the heat less option instead of a straightener. Also a tip is to sleep with your hair in a loose bun tied in a big silk scrunchie to keep the bounce! Love this product and definitely recommend!

Easy to use and they work! The curlers are pretty comfortable to sleep in assuming you are a side or stomach sleeper. The clasps are secure and you don’t need to worry about them unhooking. Take the curlers out in the morning, fluff your hair and you are ready to go.
