I wanted matte eyeshadow, this set has a lot of glitter and the others weren’t the soft colors in the picture.. I would have to return this order to Staples in another town, so needless to say it is going in the trash and I won’t be buying from this site anymore. It wasn’t expensive, I guess you get what you pay for

This eyeshadow palette is a refreshing change from those super pigmented ones because it’s much easier to work with and blends really nicely while still giving great color payoff.The palette has a lovely selection of neutral nude shades, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the colors in real life match up pretty accurately with what you see in the product images. The warm orange undertones in the shades really make my eye looks pop and brighten up my eyes.I did notice that the matte shades are a tad more pigmented than the shimmery ones, but overall, they all perform well. And it’s a nice touch that the palette comes with a brush too.When I use a good eyeshadow primer and setting spray, the colors stay put all day with minimal creasing, which is fantastic. Plus, having a decent-sized mirror in the palette cover is super handy.Now, I did put the palette to the test with water. The shadows held up pretty well when water ran over my hand, but they did smudge a bit when I rubbed them with my finger under running water. Thankfully, they’re easy to remove with hand soap.One thing that bugs me about this palette, though, is the box frame itself. It feels like it’s made of cardboard and tends to stain, especially with the darker colors. Unfortunately, these stains don’t wipe clean, so the palette starts looking a bit messy after a while.

These glided on easily using my personal makeup brush, which is a style of brush that I prefer, and stayed on throughout my workday.The price of this is impressive given the decent quality. This would be suitable as a gift or just as an addition to your makeup supply.

This eyeshadow palette has eight shades of eyeshadow…all in various shades of nude…some are shimmering, and some are matte.The palette also has a mirror that helps when you are putting on the eyeshadow.There is a double-ended brush included with two different brushes.The eyeshadow goes on smoothly. The colors of the eyeshadow look good on the eyelid, especially the matte ones.Love the fact that this product has no talc, parabens, or phthalates.Overall, a good selection of eyeshadow shades.

I really like this eyeshadow pallet because it has some nice light matte shades as well as some shimmery ones without it being too sparkly. I found that you can use this pallet for a daytime look or you can also create a really nice evening look as well.
