Versatile, well-balanced, and sturdy
I purchased the GEWOKLIY Magnetic Stand for my new iPad Pro 13 (M4), which is a bit too large for other tablet stands. It mounts easily and securely, and adjusts to any viewing angle. It is also perfect for holding in your hand to take pictures with the iPad. Despite its relatively light weight, the stability in any position is most impressive. It has surpassed my expectations and is well worth the somewhat hefty purchase price.

Hinges are a little too stiff and face is not as heavy as made up to be
So the M4 iPad is extremely light and thin, and it does fit on the stand perfectly. However, a few things noted when getting the stand, the ad would lead me to believe that the base is extremely heavy and able to see a counterweight against the weight of the iPad and well this technically may be true, The base doesn’t actually feel all that heavy. The hinges are way too stiff for most people I would assume. I had to use two hands to pry them as trying to move the hinges with just fingers was not possible so that leads to a situation where you have to put the iPad in a correct position for it to be able to stand up on its own otherwise it does get a little top heavy and fall over at least on a bed. It may be different on a flat surface, but this should not be considered for freestanding use if it’s going to be on a soft surface like a bed or carpet because it does become top heavy. Other than that the craft materials are quality.

Please be careful when reading the reviews to makes sure it’s the right model
I ordered this stand thinking that it would provide additional ports because the reviews indicate such. However, when I received the stand, I found that the model I received didn’t include any additional ports, in addition, I found that the rotating mechanism is to loose. The hinges that allow you to position the ipad are very stiff so I found it odd that the mechanism that holds the ipad holder to the base was so easy to rotate. Any bump of the ipad makes it rotate to the left or to the right because the mechanism that holds it into position is too loose.These two issues make this stand unusable for me.

Actually works!
To explain why this one is so great. The M4 ipads changed the location of the magnets. So the 13 M4 actually has a lot of issues with every other magnetic stand I have tried. The stands will put the ipad to sleep, or mark as ‘keyboard’ mode meaning no on screen typing.This unit fixes every issue I have. It stays up holding a very expensive device. Looks sleek. Is easy to rotate and adapt to any situation. Also to be clear it not only stays up, but FEELS sturdy when it is. The rotation is a bit easier than I want but it never matters unless you are being harsh.I also want to point out it cleans easily too. Dust and any marks easily come off. So not only does it look nice, it stays nice.
