If you are not using IronMind lifting straps, you probably are not lifting as much as you could be
Strong-Enough Lifting Straps : The top pro strongman choice since their introduction in 2000 and probably used for more top strongman performances than all other straps combined, Strong-Enough are also the single best overall lifting straps for most people. Strong-Enough Lifting Straps were developed when Ken Brown’s run-of-the-mill straps blew out at the 1999 World’s Strongest Man contest, keeping him from making the finals. We said, “That shouldn’t happen; we can make you some lifting straps that won’t blow.” The rest is history: Ken went on to break the world record in the Silver Dollar Deadlift–1,062-1/2 lb.–and Strong-Enough Straps were strong enough for the job. 21-1/4” long, loop at one end; 1-1/2″ wide. Made in the USA.
Chosen by the world’s strongest men and women, IronMind’s Strong-Enough lifting straps are in a class by themselves.

Seem to work good, but take a little getting used to while breaking in
These seem super high quality and will last longer than the cotton ones. (Though I am replacing the cotton ones after 6 years and they’ve got a little more life in them) These feel a bit slippery at first, but when they break in they are good. Minor OCD thing… There is no right or left side, so the logo faces different directions. It really doesn’t matter which way they face, but I do wish they were consistent.

sturdiest most simplistic straps money can buy
not the most comfortable, not the easiest to lock on but no contest the best grip and sturdiest build.

Best Lifting Strap I’ve Ever Used
I’ve owned many sets of lifting straps. To be perfectly honest, I am too picky about my straps so I have ordered my fair share searching for that “one” perfect strap. This is as close as I have come. The seat belt like material is easy on the wrist & while providing great grip on the bar, it does NOT snag when you release your grip. The straps will just slide off of the bar. This is especially great on pull down type movements as when straps snag they tend to pull the bar down into one’s head. Lol The width of the strap is also perfect. GREAT STRAPS, GET THEM.

Damn near perfect
TL;DR: Stop searching. Get this. I am not a paid spokesperson and I did not get this as a test piece or for freeSo I am an “amateur” weightlifter with a middle-age dad bod 🙂 … I do it for strength and conditioning, not to compete. As I neared my body-weight in lifts, my grip wasn’t strong enough to maintain stability. I started having calluses and I couldn’t push through the last 20 lbs or so. I switched grips from overhand to mixed but could tell the difference between both hands. It always felt like the weight was barely hanging from my fingertips.I was advised using a strap with hooks, but somehow that felt like cheating and I wasn’t sure what that would do to my wrist form long term. So I decided to use these straps with the thought that I am not using any “tools” and that I still need good form with wrists to use these. After getting used to wrapping them in the first lift, I *easily* blew past the last 20 lbs of my body weight, with a feeling that I could probably go another 25lbs or so at current level (obviously 1RM went up similarly too). That is just amazing to me!! The wrist doesn’t feel any unwanted tension and is compressed nicely enough to not unduly stretch the palm or fingers out i.e. it doesn’t feel like a fingertip hang. The reason why I give it 4 stars is that the strap is a wee bit slippery – it might just be that I have to use it with chalk and it’ll be fine but I am assuming there’s some way to make it less slippery during manufacturing. Otherwise, it seems this can last forever and, with practice, I should be able to wrap it around nicely and more compactly for even better lifts.

These are the best straps I’ve ever owned, there’s a reason so many strongman and powerlifters use them.Maybe don’t drag them across the knurling and they won’t fray, I wouldn’t listen to those reviews, treat your equipment well and it lasts.

It’s uncomfortable to wear and lift
