Solid build, and reasonably priced.
This mount is solid and very sturdy. It arrive packed very well and upon removing it from the box, the solid construction is noticeable. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, but I have not experienced any failures. It has held at every angle I’ve set it to. I only use it to hold my phone, but it definitely excels. There’s plenty of room between the clamp and the metal rod with the pad to attach to a variety of surfaces. To ensure proper clamping, I’d recommend having 3 inches of surface space beginning from the edge. It doesn’t at much weight, casement be adjusted to many angles and is easy to install. The one thing that people should know is that although this mount is adjustable, it does require ample force. It does require using both hands to adjust the arms to open and close them. To spin the mount, one hand can be used, but to open the arms it requires force.

Useful and Cost-effective
I am using this stand to mount a portable monitor at the side of my somewhat small desk. It provides enough flexibility to position the monitor the way I like, and it didn’t break the bank. I am considering buying another since I want to add another monitor to the desk in the other side. The only negative about it is that it can be difficult to move the arm. I may try to lubricate it slightly and see if that helps.

This is okay, but it’s very hard to move around with the different arms. It’s tight. The magnet is very weak, and my phone falls off just with a bump. If the arms could move a little better and the magnet was stronger, it would be great.

Well, I’m returning it technically because the magnet won’t hold my phone. At least not securely not with it plugged in. So I’m not even going to try to get it to hold my tablet. But there are two other reasons I would return it even if I had to pay to return it. The first is that there is no way to remove the clamp so that you can attach this thing to like a tripod mount. Basically a 1/4 20 screw. I just assumed that it would be removable and I didn’t see anything that said it wasn’t. Why would you not have it removable? Which means that you would literally have to cut it off and glue on a quarter inch Mount which I’m not going to do that. And then the other reason I’d return it and pay the postage is that its motion is severely restricted into the diameter of the circle to which is attached as the center. There is no way to get more than about. I’m thinking 30° of side-to-side motion so that if you set the thing or quick thing to your right instead of directly in front of you or just slightly offset, there’s no way to actually get the screen to face you. I’m talking about my phone here so I’m talking about inside a car which is obviously unacceptable. However, the reason that I’m returning it and getting it paid as a return is that this won’t hold the phone. So sorry about that. Otherwise, I’d give it a b+. In terms of construction, it’s not as good as it could be. I’m not even sure the Caps come off and it can be adjusted. I much prefer having a better joint system than than one that is just take it or leave it.
