Great to have as a spare set
If you are like me and tend to lose things, these are a great pair of (spare) lifting straps to hold you over until you are able to find your regular lifting straps or purchase ones that you prefer.Unfortunately, I lost the lifting straps I preferred to use somewhere, but I was fortunate to have this pair with me. They are compact so they can be easily stored in your gym bag without taking up too much space. They have a neoprene padding on the inside to protect your wrist, and the strap is your standard lifting strap with no bells or whistles. You simply put the strap through the opening and cinch it to your preferred fit.I only use lifting straps for specific exercises such as holding weights while doing lunges/split squats, especially when my grip strength begins to fade. These lifting straps are simple, but they do what I need them to do, which is provide additional support for gripping the weight, and they do that just fine.I wish the strap itself was a bit longer, but again, for what I need them for, it was sufficient.Overall, I am happy to have these around as a spare and I will not lose too much sleep if I happen to lose them given the relatively reasonable price for these straps.

    Give it a try!
My son is a powerlifter and spends a lot of time in the gym. He says the padding is comfortable, length is good, thickness is good but thinner than others used, fabric is decent quality and they didn’t break. These straps get the job done and are priced extremely well. There are others out there that are a better fit and quality but they also cost more. If you are a serious gym rat and use straps often, these are a good pair to have as a back-up set. If you don’t use them often or are just starting out, then these would be a great start to get a feel for what they are like and how to use them. There were no instructions included so make sure you get help from someone that knows how they are used.

    Very basic lifting straps
If you’re looking for something to help with lifting and your weight lifting grip these are decent. I wouldn’t say they are the best option out there but they get the job done. They are made of thinner material than I was expecting. Though the price of these makes a lot of sense based on the quality you receive. I still expect them to hold up for a long time though despite how thin the material seems. So I can’t complain too much because of that. They are a decent length. They aren’t super comfortable on my hands but they do help with getting a better grip. Overall I would still rate them 5/5 because you get the basics that you need for a cheap price. Though if you were a professional lifter or if you are frequently lifting I might suggest a different product.

    Good basic straps!
If you’re just starting out with using straps, these would be a great strap to start with!Make sure you look up how to use them first, these do not come with any sort of instructions. These improved my grip, and helped keep wrist pain down. The wrist is nicely padded which provides good support, and the strap is long enough to wrap safely. The price is cheap, but they’re definitely well made. Though they do not feel like they’re made of cotton. I think they’re nylon.

Inexpensive – basic, not robust – just a starter set?
These would be OK for occasional lifters but if you are a serious lifter (or wanting to become a more serious lifter) and lifting heavy weights spend a bit more for a robust pair of lifting straps. The webbing material is pretty thin and doesn’t bite into the knurling of the bar so the grip – the most important reason to buy these – isn’t the best. The padding and stitching aren’t super robust either so they don’t give you the best support. They will work OK for some people but they aren’t the most comfortable and I don’t have the a lot of confidence in them overall. The reason to use lifting straps is you are lifting weights beyond your grip strength for the set – you don’t want your drip strength limiting how much weight you are pulling, you also want to train your grip so these really are for lifting heavy. If you’re just looking to try out lifting straps these are an inexpensive way to do it but as you get more serious look to spend $10 – $20 for a pair that will last a lifetime.

Basic, simple, value priced lifting straps
These are not fancy, pretty much as basic as it gets. But that is just fine for me, just need to function well. Construction is good, stitching looks durable and the end of the strap is stitched to prevent unraveling. This doesn’t seem like straight cotton to me as it feels a bit too slick. And now that I look closer at the specifications I see it listed as cotton blend even though cotton is used elsewhere. The pictures in the listing do give me pause. I think every single one is showing the straps in incorrect usage (or more likely incorrect photoshopping). Make sure to watch a youtube video about how to use these if you haven’t before.

    Decent straps, good value
I have not used weightlifting straps in many years, but have recently started doing a couple of exercises at the gym with a tacky bar that irritates my palms. I was looking for straps and came across these. I could be wrong – they may all be a standard size – but these seem to be a little bit shorter than the ones I’ve had in the past. It took me a couple of times to figure out how these were supposed to work, but, again, I haven’t used straps in years. After going back to the Amazon site and looking at the photos, I realized that the padded part is supposed to go on the wrist, not the palm. Once I got that figured out, I was able to use the straps effectively. They seem to be of medium to high quality, which is more than sufficient for my needs. I would say that if you lift a lot of weights and use straps all the time, or you have really large hands and wrists, you may want to look elsewhere, but if you use them occasionally or only for 1 or 2 exercises, and have normal or smaller sized hands and wrists these are a very affordable solution and a great value.
