Fourth bottle
I’ve been wearing this for probably four years now. Every now and then I’ll test something else out but go right back to this. Here’s why it’s great:Once it dries, you won’t feel it on your face like foundation. If you feel your face during the day, it will feel soft.SPF 30 plus other skincare ingredients- my dryness is in check and I never breakout since using it.It gives me a pretty glow without anyone even knowing I have makeup on.I personally want to be very minimalistic when it comes to makeup and skincare so this is perfect for me.I used it before it started coming in three shades (it was just called sheer I think), and I just ordered the light but it was too light, so gonna try the medium and will report back. Currently I’m pale but olive skin and like it to make me look like I have a little more color.I recommend buying one of those thin flat brushes to smooth it out. It’s very satisfying and is the best type of brush to blend this type of cream. Otherwise I’d just use your fingers, that’s what I did for the longest time. THEN, pro tip, use a beauty blender to blot it!! If you don’t do that, it will look a little dewy at first but it does dry down and you will not be oily throughout the day. I have oil skin and hair and I surprisingly have no problems with this even in the summer time.If you want the ultimate minimal routine I’ve been doing for years now,Use this (primer on days you really want it to be nice), then use a flat brush to dab blend glossier cloud paint in DUSK for a very natural everyday blush color. Then I use Ulta brand liquid eyeshadow I think in the lightest color to brighten my eyes. It’s so nice! Then mascara and that’s it. And I feel great!

Sensitive Skin Girlies – Get it
I’ve been using this for about 6 months. I have VERY sensitive skin. Happy that this is fragrance free and hasn’t given me any breakouts or rashes. I love makeup but hate the way most foundations feel and/or sit on top of my skin. This ish is a miracle. I use it as a base (it’s moisturizing without being greasy) and gives a wonderful glow under makeup and on its own. It has just enough coverage to build on some concealer, bronzer, blush for a natural look. Also doesn’t completely cover up my freckles which I’m a fan of. If you’re more oily – tap some translucent powder over the areas where you want to bring shine down. I genuinely feel like this product has helped my skin health. At the price point as well? You can’t beat it. I do wish they would offer a pump version. Product can gather around the opening and build up. Not make or break though, considering. Buy it girl!

daily sunscreen, but stains clothes
I use this sunscreen every day and like how the tint helps even out my skin and cover small imperfections while protecting from sun damage. It blends well and feels light on the skin. The only downside is that if you sweat or your skin is damp, it transfers to clothes and the stains are very hard to remove.

Very good tinted moisturizer!
I had a tinted moisturizer I loved for a long time, but suddenly it started pilling and caking on me. (Maybe I’m just getting older?) I definitely need sunscreen and I don’t necessarily want to wear foundation everday, so I tried some others. They were either not a good shade or not enough coverage (I do want a bit to even out my skin tone), or didn’t stay smooth all day. I wanted something inexpensive, but I hesitated to try this because it only has three shades, and I’m very fair. But I like Cerave, so I thought I’d try it, and I’m so glad I did! It’s a perfect shade, has a bit of coverage, and stays smooth, even under my eyes! And it has so many ingredients that are good for my skin. I’ll be using this for a while!

I have really been enjoying this! It goes on nicely, gives slight coverage, works well w/ my other beauty products. Bought in light + tan shades!Would definitely give this a try.Note: Does give more of a “dewy” glow I’d say. Not major coverage if you’re looking for that I’d probably skip but if you want an easy, “no makeup” look, this is your friend!

Hydrating, glowy finish
I have used two bottles of this sunscreen and I absolutely love it. It has a slight tint to it and I always mix it with a skin tint to add even more color and shine and it just looks perfect on my skin, I don’t even have to wear foundation. Plus, it has spf so it protects my skin and I am pregnant so I needed a mineral spf and this one has just been perfect. Highly recommend!

My Best Beauty Buy of 2025
I love this product! I originally purchased it as a “back up” item for days where I didn’t want to use up my previous favorite, which was Supergoop Matte Screen. While the Matte Screen is a beautiful product and I do still recommend it, the price keeps rising and discounts are scarce (it’s over $40 a tube now). I like having something effective and economical for daily use. I don’t wear foundation, only tinted sunscreen and concealer as needed. CeraVe is a trusted brand and I usually wear a Medium shade. Yes it initially applied somewhat greasy- but after waiting a minute and blotting with a tissue, I was delighted to see the most healthy glow to my complexion! You really need to let the product sink in and gently tap your face with a tissue. Also a little bit goes a long way! For $13, an item to last a few months is excellent. This works for me because I have a neutral-warm undertone. If you have a cool undertone I think you will find this to be too orange. Mineral sunscreen is wonderful and I’ve been a believer in sensible sun protection for quite some time. I highly recommend!
