You’re probably going to want one of these.Although most of the reviews were from Viners, they were all very consistent, so I decided to take a chance on this stand. Got it for my iPad Pro 12.9 4th gen. I’ve only had the thing for about 5 minutes, and it’s basically the easiest 5-star review ever.As others wrote, the joints are remarkably stiff, and that’s the cost of stability. At the moment, there is zero fear of gravity creep. The stand is very well made and has a premium feel.My only minor complaint would be the bracket that grips the device. It’s not spring-loaded like my other stands, and therefore doesn’t have the inherent constant grip from counter pressure.Update:The bracket has two adjustments. One is a general adjustment, and the second is a fine-tuning knob. Once you set the general, you don’t need to touch it again. The micro-adjustment knob is all you will need. After a couple of days of using the stand, I’m really liking this system, and I’ve found that it achieves a more secure grip than the spring-type.Summary: super stable, lots of articulation possibilities, nice precision ratcheting clicks from the rotating base similar to the bezel of a nice dive watch. Well done. Lightweight, looks and feels great.Buy this with confidence. It’s worth the price. I’ll take some pics if I get a moment.

Quality Build, very solid, yet flexible
Works great, solid build and stiff stays in place, and adjust to almost any angle at my desk. Also have used it on a coffee table for video calls so you can sit comfortably on the couch. Quality build.

Top notch worth every penny
I don’t get excited about writing reviews but this thing is top notch ! The price tag scared me but I’ve had several before and they all break in a few months. The machining on this think is top tier! You will not be disappointed! Don’t waste your money buying one 1/3 of the price just for it to break and you buy another one over and over. Buy this once and be super satisfied!

Great Quality
Super helpful for me! In fact I wish I had purchased this awhile ago. I also love that I can attach a magnet to my iPad to then use on this arm. I have 2 solid options. And this arm is constructed very well. Only complaint would be I would like the grip for the iPad holder to be better, but that may be a user issue rather than a manufacturer issue.

Here we have a particularly good arm for desk mounting larger tablets, or the most overkill phone holder imaginable!Straight out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the exceptionally sturdy and high-quality construction, a chunky anodised aluminium arm, with seriously stiff joints. It’s pretty much fully constructed, you only need to attach your choice of head, and clamp it to your desk.It comes with two heads, a tablet clamp and a magnetic ring mount, the ring is sized for MagSafe, I attached it to my phone and was shocked by the strength of it, I actually struggled to remove my phone! It is provided with a few adhesive metal rings so you can add your own mounting points to non-MagSafe devices. This mount alone would likely be strong enough to hold a substantial tablet, but for my uses I did attach the tablet clamp. The clamp is sturdy and functional, certainly strong enough and large enough for big tablets, but using it with a 13″ iPad Pro, I did run in to a couple of issues. First, it seems designed for slightly thicker tablets, my iPad shifts about a little and is not as firmly seated as I would like, even when it’s nipped up tightly. Second, the clamping mechanism itself has two stages, first you manually fit it on, then you adjust a final tightening screw which nips everything up tight. This final stage offers very little feedback, and I would be worried about using this with plastic cased tablets.Ultimately, I am not entirely happy with how it holds my tablet, there is a little play and I do think that a chunky case would improve matters, but it is not going to drop out or anything dramatic like that.Another issue, which is a consequence of the design, the hinges are fairly traditional, working in one axis only. As a result, freedom of movement is quite restricted, but you can get the angle you need in most situations. Because the final joint is a ball-joint.The desk mount/clamp is pretty standard, and offers a secure fit on most desks. It’s not ideal on tempered glass but it’s workable. It’s great on thicker wooden desks, but perhaps use some padding on the underside to prevent damage.All in all, whilst I recognise the limitations of the product, it is very well-made, very sturdy, and I can work with the small issues because I do like the product. At the current price of £67.99 it’s certainly not cheap, but it’s a good product.
