such a cute water bottle and great for toddlers!!
LOVE this product!! The color is so cute and the quality is amazing. My todder can open it all by himself and feels so grown 🥹 its light too so he can carry it around by himself and its not heavy for him!It does leak just a little from the straw, and there can be a little spout from any pressure, i wish it wasn’t at all but for the size i haven’t found one that doesn’t leak at all yet!I’ve put hot water in these for tea when my boys are sick and they still hold the outside with no problem!

Easy to open and light enough to carry when full
Fantastic water bottle. My son at 14 months could easily open and use whenever he needed. Love the handle as he carries it with him when outside(not too heavy either when full of water) Recommend hand washing to keep the color vibrant. Spill proof when closed. If you fill the bottle too full sometimes it will spray water on you when you open it. DOES SPILL WATER WHEN OPEND AND FLIPPED.overall great product, always get compliments on it.

Easily washable
This is the perfect water bottle for young children. It is high quality, and fits well in side pockets of book bags or cupholders. It’s a little more pricy than I usually spend for water bottles, but the durability is worth the price. Holds plenty of water for the day, and my three year old is easily able to navigate unlocking and opening the spout. The lid comes apart nicely for washing to prevent mold.

Overall great
Love owalas for my kids. Keeps the water cold and it’s easy for them to open and shut. Sometimes water shoots out the mouth hole, that is the only downfall

Your kids will be drinking RUST and SILICONE PIECES
I am what you would call an Owala fan. I own 5 of their free sip bottles in multiple sizes and color ways. So of course when my toddler needed a water bottle, I didn’t think twice about purchasing an Owala for him. Big mistake. The flip kid’s water bottle comes with a silicone bite valve/ spout. After only 6 months of LIGHT use by my 3 year old, the silicone is starting to shred on the mouth piece. No, he does not bite or gnaw on the silicone mouth piece. He only drinks water from it when we leave the house – and to be clear he stays home with me most days. We leave the house 3 times a week *at most*. That’s about 72 days of use.The silicone is so weak/ such a low grade material, that it is disintegrating. I don’t want my kid swallowing silicone pieces!!!I contacted Owala because surely this type of damage after just 6 months of use would be covered under warranty – they said no. They gave me the option to purchase (with my money) a WHOLE new lid (not just the silicone bite valve) on their website for $8. That’s actually insane considering I could purchase TWO silicone bite valves from a 3rd party here on Amazon for less. Purchasing a whole new plastic lid just to replace a bite valve is wasteful, and completely defeats the purpose of owning a reusable water bottle. This kids flip water bottle also started showing rust/ pitting spots inside after just 6 months. We never leave water in it overnight, and I always hand wash and dry the inside with a towel immediately. Owala claimed that rust and pitting is “normal”, that their stainless steel bottles aren’t rust “proof” but only rust “resistant” – and would thus not replace it under warranty. So not only is Owala okay with our kids consuming bits of silicone and drinking from rusty bottles, they also no longer honor their warranty which once backed up a great product. I have had my freesips replaced twice now for the same rust/ pitting (with proof via emails!) – but Owala no longer honors rust as a warranty claim. They no longer stand by their product, because the quality is very obviously not the same as it used to be.I won’t be purchasing from Owala again. I’ve read online that many other people have had the same issue with Owala as I have, and alternatives like Simple Modern, Camelbak, Contigo, and Yeti have been suggested – not only for their great products, but for their WARRANTY which actually backs up and believes in the product. Not only that, but apparently these other brands don’t grill you for explanation along with pictures and videos just to submit a warranty claim (unlike Owala…)I’ll be switching to one of those brands, because they are ALL less costly than Owala anyways.Bye, Owala. See yah never!

Great bottle, one minor flaw
Great bottle, only problem is when it gets pressurized from forgetting it in the car or in a hot/cold environment then opening the lid, water gushes everywhere since its being de-pressurized so you get 5 or 6 drops of water everywhere, other than that, a sturdy bottle.

Easiest Water Bottle for Toddlers to Open
After trying so many different kids’ water bottles, the Owala Kids Flip is hands-down our favorite. Both my 2-year-old and 3-year-old can flip it open completely on their own, which makes them feel independent and makes life easier for me. The flip-top design is really intuitive for little hands, and it doesn’t leak when closed. I also love that it’s insulated—it keeps water cold for hours. The bottles come in fun color options, and they’re surprisingly easy to take apart and clean compared to others we’ve owned. If you’re looking for a durable, leakproof, insulated kids’ water bottle that toddlers can actually open themselves, this is the one.

Not for young children
This is a good quality water bottle and easy to clean, but my 4 year old has spilled it so many times that it has been rendered useless. It also leaks if the locking mechanism isn’t toggled locked, which is difficult for their little fingers. This bottle is sized for young children, but not designed for them.

Amazing water bottle! Mine did have a small dent, but overall it’s still useful and the function is perfect.

The silicone mouth piece got completely damaged after my daughter used it the 1st time.

I ordered it for a kid easy to use open and lock but it came in a paper bag so it came crooked

Finally a great bottle that keeps water cool and doesn’t leak! Great colours too and the mechanism on the bottle is great.
