A ABSOLUTE SUCCESS IN ELECTRIC BLANKETS
OMGOODNESS !!!!!YESSSSSS THIS IS THE ELECTRIC BLANKET OF ALL BLANKETS! I bought the 60×80 so I could wrap up in it on the couch if I chose. I usually sit in my lazy boy. I suffer from arthritis and fibromyalgia sometimes feeling like I couldn’t get warm enough from my old flannel 50×60 blanket. Edges never got warm etc. I bought this gorgeous master piece and it helps sooooo much with the pain. Do IT you will NOT be disappointed I bought the Grey wolf. The article fox is white with silver tips and I felt that wouldn’t be a good idea. Go BIG or go home, you will not regret it. Again it helps so much with the pain I endure. The temperature gage is excellent gets nice and hot like a big wrappable heating pad, or just the right amount of heat during the summer with the a/c on. Low setting is like at around 78⁰. I will suggest you give this a good shake after each use to keep it from matting. It is faux fur but rich and thick. The backside is soft and silky like microfiber. Very velvety smooth. I can not say enough. I am absolutely thrilled. The backing is sown tightly to the trim there isnt any slippage or separation between the two. You absolutely can not go wrong here. I have gone on a made mission to find the right fur electric blanket and none of the big box stores had that long fur appeal or the backing wasn’t as nice, or there was separation between the two layers. Also they couldn’t reach that hot heat I needed. So far I put it through a shed test wearing black and noticed no shedding from my blankets. If yours does, I would suggest throwing it in the dryer on low or fluff a few times, (done with other one I took back to store because layer seperation and being to small) Hope this helps and I covered what is needed to be known. Don’t take my review for it, its worth the money for mom or dad, or yourself. But again go with the 60×80 unless you want just a lap blanket. Enjoy!!!!

Love this white elephant gift!
I bought this heated throw for a white elephant gift and my husband ended up with it through a steal. What a pleasant surprise! It looks great and is very soft and warm on its own. The adjustable heat settings and timer provide an added comfort that is so next level I can barely stay awake through any movie. One caution: I have to be careful not to get tripped up in the cord when I get up.

Very disappointed – rough texture, strong odor, and excessive shedding
Very disappointed – rough texture, strong odor, and excessive sheddingI purchased this 50×60 heated throw blanket specifically to get me through the winter months here in Indiana, where the cold can be absolutely brutal. I rely heavily on heated blankets for comfort and warmth, so my expectations were reasonable but firm. Unfortunately, this blanket was a major disappointment from the moment I opened the package.First issue: the smell. Immediately upon opening the blanket, there was a noticeable and unpleasant odor. It smelled very chemical-like, not just a “new product” scent. This alone was off-putting and made me hesitant to even use it right away.Second issue: the shedding is out of control. I was wearing a black shirt when I opened the blanket, and the faux fur fibers instantly clung to my clothing like static cling. They were everywhere—on my shirt, my arms, floating in the air, and even getting into my nose, which caused me to sneeze repeatedly. I’ve attached images to show just how bad the shedding is. This is not a minor lint issue; it’s excessive and unacceptable, especially for something that’s supposed to be cozy and comforting.Third issue (and the biggest one for me): the texture. I am very much a texture person, and this blanket completely fails in that department. The faux fur is not soft at all—not even slightly. In fact, it has a rough, scratchy feel that is extremely unpleasant against the skin. I was expecting something that mimicked rabbit fur or at least felt plush and luxurious. This feels nothing like that. It’s stiff, coarse, and honestly uncomfortable to touch. If texture matters to you at all, this blanket will be a huge letdown.The underside lining is the only somewhat redeeming feature. It has a fleece-like texture that I can tolerate, and it’s definitely softer than the faux fur side. That said, the fleece alone isn’t enough to justify keeping this blanket, especially given the other issues.As for the heating function, the blanket does heat up, but it takes several minutes to do so. While that might be acceptable if everything else about the blanket were great, it’s just another drawback added to an already disappointing experience.Between the strong odor, constant shedding, rough and uncomfortable faux fur texture, and mediocre heating performance, I am completely unsatisfied with this product. I was hoping for warmth, comfort, and softness during cold Indiana winters, and this blanket delivers none of that in a way that feels usable or enjoyable.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this heated blanket and regret purchasing it. One star is generous given the overall experience.
