I’ve found Mr. Right Sunscreen
I have used this only one time so far and I’m in love. It didn’t break me out or make my eyes sting so I’m stoked. I was hesitant about the zinc because I have tried other zinc based sunscreens and they made my rosacea sting but this one has not. The formula is on the thick side but it’s perfect for my dry skin and actually absorbs but it takes a little bit to rub in. It doesn’t leave a white cast and it has a slight amount of tint that brightens up my complexion with no scent. I appreciate the packaging too. The cap is weighted and it balances out the bottle making it really stable on my counter. It’s a little expensive so when it went on sale I snatched it up and boy am I happy I did because it is worth it. I’m definitely gonna try the other products they have.

Favorite Sunscreen Ever
This sunscreen is my favorite. It’s lightweight, chemical free, and drys down well! As someone whose skin is sensitive and can’t really wear chemical sunscreens without burning and acne breakouts this stuff is amazing! I’ve worn it multiple times on my face and been out in the sun where my arms have gone crispy red, but my face looks untouched because of this sunscreen. Prequel is an amazing brand and I enjoy using some of their other products as well!

Great mineral sunscreen
I have hyperpigmentation so regular broad spectrum sunscreens do not work well for me regardless brands and price point. Therefore, I am constantly on the search for new mineral sunscreen options. Prequel’s product is definitely worth trying. 1. Doesn’t provoke irritations 2. The texture is nice and doesn’t leave white cast at all 3. There are moisturizing components in the product, so the skin doesn’t feel dry or tight (which is sometimes the case with zinc dioxide products) 4. The sunscreen has a shimmer, so it also works as a nice primer. Most of the days I will just use it on its own without foundation and just add a corrector locally.

I changed my mind!
I have purchased this sunscreen 6 or 7 times now in the last year.Full disclosure, I did NOT like it the first few times I tried it. After a month or so, I totally changed my mind though. It blends in well, doesn’t pill, and protects my skin well. I love the consistency of it as it isn’t thick but also isn’t runny.I have fair skin so it does work well with my skin tone. I do not wear full makeup ever so I cannot speak for it working with makeup. I usually apply the sunscreen then a little concealer under my eyes and I’m good to go. My face has a delightful glow too…not a greasy look.One reason I find myself going to this brand is the lack of fragrance and unnecessary ingredients in their products. Price point is great for me too. Prequel is a brand I trust. I’ve purchased: gleanser (X2), sa gleanser, half and half, the balm, the gel, hypochlorous spray (X2), the peel, the hand wrap (x5)…love em all!

VERY emollient
This sunscreen would be a fantastic winter sunscreen option for someone with dry, dehydrated, skin. It’s too thick and moisturizing for my normal skin, particularly in these humid Texas summers. I’m also not a huge fan of the smell, but it fades quickly. I do really like that it doesn’t irritate my hypersensitive eyes. Good quality sunscreen, just not quite for me.

Better than many but meh
I’m very conflicted about this sunscreen. I don’t know if it’s worth 3 or 4 stars. I only wear this on my outdoor runs because I don’t like the heavy feeling on my skin. However, in comparison to the over 50 sunscreens I’ve tried over the last decade, it’s still so much better than most. The problem- I have extremely sensitive eyes and cannot put any chemical sunscreens on my face or my eyes water for nearly the entire day. I will probably repurchase for using on run days.Pros:No bad smellNo white castNo burning eyes- very sensitiveDoes not ball or pill in hairlineWater resistance seems to work as statedCons:Does not dry down, stays wet feeling for an hour or more.Feels a bit heavy on skin but not quite greasy. Definitely a very dewy finish.

Best mineral sunscreen in U.S.
It’s hard for U.S. brands to compete with Korean skincare right now, but this brand does it well. Best US mineral sunscreen I’ve used. There IS a cast because it’s mineral, but it’s a bit peachy and it soaks in quickly. Even so, may be better for lighter skin tones unless you have enough time to let it soak in before going out.

Not a win
I wanted to love this as I love a lot of prequals products, however this is a complete miss for me. It feels super greasy and the smell is horrible and burns my eyes. I am very sensitive to fragrance natural and synthetic but ive never seen any of prequals other products smell like this.
