It stinks
I bought this for the bedroom so I had a soft night light for my senior dog to get to his water dish. It’s absolutely horrible. The light is so soft, that it doesn’t light up larger than a foot in front of it. And a foot is being kind. I needed to light a path without lighting up the room.Don’t waste your money

The remote appears to be the weak link in being able to connect successfully with the light
The sunset table lamp projector with remote does work well, assuming you can get a decent connection with the remote.Once you plug it in via USB (I have not tried with a computer but I did try with a USB phone charger that I already had) the sunset lamp will turn on automatically.However, I had difficulties with the remote. You have to be very close to the lamp, make sure that you’re clicking the buttons very solidly, and you will likely have to do so on multiple attempts to get the light to respond.There’s a small plastic cover that you have to pull out from the battery compartment, which is pretty normal for these types of things.You do get different brightness settings, like and you can change the color around somewhat. There is a white color option but the problem is that it basically just shows all the colors all at once. In fact, I’ve taken a picture indicating what the white color looks like. Either that, The lamp was not responding to my multiple presses for the white color option.I’m a bit worried as to how I’m going to be able to use this lamp once the battery and the remote is used up because I cannot figure out how to open up the battery compartment. I followed the directions but it just does not open. Hopefully, I guess what I will most likely have to do is just keep it on maximum brightness and on the color setting that I like, so that way in the future, if the remote fails to work, anytime I plug in the lamp, it will still turn onto the setting that I have last selected.Otherwise, the lamp does work. It does provide a nice ambiance, and it does provide adequate light for its purpose.I will say that putting it together is extremely easy since you just have to screw the lamp portion and the light portion together. It’s very simple.The lamp stand itself is made out of a very lightweight plastic. It does not feel robust in any way. However, in terms of value for money, this small sunset table lamp is of great value for money. It is incredibly inexpensive.In terms of size, it is pretty small, but you do have the ability to tilt the light around a little bit and then secure it in place to the proper angle that you would like.
